This sounds oddly familiar to this issue where a sheet was creating multiple extra rows when using UNIQUE to fill the sheet and there was validation applied to the column.

Arrayformula storage issue

Hello, I’ve been successfully using arrayformula to parse information between my app and the google sheet, but all of a sudden, Glide has begun recognising empty rows as filled. I have deleted all extra rows, but whenever a form is filled in the app, it creates 500 rows in the sheet, and recognises these as filled, despite them being empty.
