Greetings,
I am making an MVP and I created a new account to get the new FREE plan for unlimited updates to test the builder and see the limits of what I can do on it for free. However, now there is an Update limit of 1000 updates showing up in Usage pane. Is this a bug or am I misunderstanding something? I believed there are no actual Updates in the new FREE plan.
Thank you for your answer.
Are you using any of those updates or is it zero? The updates are free on Glide Tables, but I imagine that now or in the future you could be able to use some integrations or features that would still require an update. It’s just that you won’t incur updates on the Glide Rable itself.
I don’t know if there is anything available now in a free plan that would use updates. I haven’t yet explored the new plans much.
@Branislav_Buocik , could you try creating a brand new team and creating a new project?
There is nothing in the Free plan that can consume updates: neither the 3 included integrations, nor the unique data source Glide Tables, consume updates.
In the usage section, you should see “Updates 0/0”.
I am having the exact same issue. I created a brand new team and move my project there, but it seems like there is an update limit (even when there shouldn’t be any) and apparently hit my row limit when I have ~1K rows in total.
Could someone from Glide take a look at this asap?
my internal users are unable to log in even though the max # of rows should be 25K for the free plan.
Hmm, I just looked at a new free team that I created last week. It was definitely a new free plan team because I copied a google sheet app into it and as expected, I could not run the app because it used a Google sheet. Scanning over the plan now, it seems that it may have reverted to a legacy plan after the SNAFU last night. Also, my google sheets based app runs just fine with no usage warning.
@Jeff_Hager is there anyone from Glide that we can tag here? It seems like this is a broader issue so would love to know if this being investigated
Yep, we are having an issue with the wrong free version being assigned (some users are getting the old free version with updates and row limits). We are working on a fix.
We should have this resolved today. We had the fix last night but were too tired to run it, in case there were unintended consequences
NICE! thanks @david!
Fix is running now, should be resolved in the next few minutes. Please let me know what you see.
My team on free plan looks right now - thanks again!
Hi David,
I am getting this message on the New Free Plan. I am only using Glide Tables so there should be no update limits?
I hope they can sort this issue out soon. @david @Jeff_Hager
I create a New Team and transferred my app to a New Team and the usage limits message is gone. Maybe that will work for you.
Hi Guilio,
We’re looking int this issue. I’ll get back to you soon. Thanks for your patience.
@veldhoven - The issue with your team has been addressed. Let us know if you have any more unexpected issues with the account.
@Guilio_Del_Fava Thanks for the assist.
