System Jam. Page Couldn't Work when Using Search Bar

Hi

For past 2 days we are experiencing real lag in the builder, at the same time, our users complain about the lag as well

We don’t have this issue before yesterday. While working on google sheet (as the DB) and builder, our user say the system is lagging when the login via the apps.

Since 2 hours ago, we are not able to use the search box in the Inline list. The page just stall and couldn’t function.

Looking for any advice as soon as possible. Thanks.

Some feedbacks from users this morning

So far we have only 4 active users, internal use for our own company.

What are the steps to reproduce this slowness? Do you have a video?

I have been trying to reproduce it but it’s been unsuccessful.

It is intermittent.

When I am working on the Editor, the feedback from colleagues are frequent.

More so when I do testing on webhooks during office hour.

As such we are asking some of the certified experts if their clients ever have such complaints. This is a concern as we are planning to roll out to our clients from next year.

How many tables and rows do you have in total?

Have you tried clearing empty rows and columns?

Yes Cleared. All empty rows clear.

There are 5 main tables that we used so far, all google sheets.

Have checked on Columns. There’s quite a lot of empty columns in Glidetable, as we are refining the Google sheets tables.

Will this be the cause?

Do you mean a lot of empty columns in the data view? That can contribute to the problem.

Delete all the unused columns.

Still the same.

We need the support team on this, as right now, whenever we key in any values into the Search box in the Tabs, the whole app just stalled. @SantiagoPerez

Yes, there’s definitely something wrong there.
Just opening your App in the builder caused my browser to have a meltdown.
I’m wondering if you may have inadvertently created a circular reference in the Data Editor.
My advice is to log a Support Ticket with Glide, if you haven’t already.
They will know better than me how to diagnose this.

Got it… Just raised a support ticket with Glide…

In fact we have removed all google scripts, thinking the google sheets scripts may have cause the lags.

Right now we are not able to update any more records into the system!

My colleague update a record from her login. It shows for a while. See created By Staff screenshot.

At the Table Editor, no records at all. See No Record at Editor.

My colleague logout and login again, the record gone.

I have done a hard sync via the Editor, not records updated.

I have try to edit another candidate record. No updates to system as well!


We can only do a hard sync, after we add the record via Google Sheet.

Kindly help!
