I don’t know how it happened, but my component suddenly disappeared. I really don’t understand. I worked hard on it. Please tell me there’s a way to restore the application to a previous date.
Was this a custom AI component? It’s possible you clicked on the X of the component, there is no confirmation warning.
Or it’s possible that you changed the style of your screen? Here too there is no confirmation warning and this action will wipe out all components on the screen.

When either of these two occur and you notice it, immediately click the “Cancel recent change” button bottom left of the viewer.

Always have backups and versioning folders in place in your dashboard. These are simple to set up yet crucial, and most people don’t set them up.

Everytime you enter Glide to work on an app to make substantial changes, make two duplicates of the app: one with connected tables, the other with separate tables. Name your duplicates clearly, something like “2026-01-01 (Connected) Name_of_App”. And move them to the appropriate folder. It’s the closest thing currently available in Glide to manually create versioning and backups.
Hopefully you’ll manage to recreate your lost component quickly enough.
