Is the address bar supposed to show when opening an app?

Hi there.

I’m working on an app in Glide. Based on the way the builder interface is setup in Glide, I’m expecting that the app will display in my mobile browser in full-screen mode (in other words, without displaying a browser header and footers).

However, when I open the app (using the share URL) on my Safari on iPhone, the app shows the browser’s header and footer.

Am I misunderstanding how this is supposed to work?

You need to install the app by adding it to your home screen.

Tap on the share icon (the one in the middle at the bottom), then you should see the “Add to Home Screen” option.
