Description
- iOS 26 has changed the layout of Safari, so there is no longer a “Share” button immediately visible. However, the Glide popup to install an app still gives the instruction of “Tap (Share Icon) then “Add to Home Screen”. It needs to be updated to “Tap (Ellipsis Icon), tap (Share Icon), “Add to Home Screen”.
How to replicate
- Use an iPhone running iOS 26.
- Have the “Tabs” setting for Safari set to “Compact” (the default setting).
- The other 2 settings do display the Share Icon, but I think it probably makes the most sense to plan for most users keeping the default setting.
- Open any app for the first time in Safari.
