Install App no longer working on new "glide.app" work around

Following the 4 day outage of glide page apps:

I can see that the work around put in place is to use a new “glide.app” URL instead of the previous “glide.page” however this seems to have resulted in an odd effect.

When viewing the app on Android in Chrome, it no longer detects this as a webapp and has the option to “Install”, instead it can only “Add to home screen” meaning that this is a Chrome shortcut, not an installed application.

While I am using a paid for version of glide, I do not have my own domain, which I know was an alternative solution to the DNS issue above, so I have to use the URL provided by glide.
Is this issue happening for others, or is there an alternative issue with why my app is no longer being detected properly by Chrome?
I am using the latest Chrome version (134.0.6998.108) on a Pixel 5 (Android 14)

@Tom_Down,
Chrome has changed these options. Try selecting “Add to home screen.” It should then give you the option to “Install” or “Create shortcut.”
