Explain USER Pricing

Can someone explain the difference between “Maker Personal Users” and “Team Users”?

-What difference in functionality exists between the two?
-What distinguishes the two?
-What can a Team user do, that a Personal user cannot?

The tooltip explainers of these are incredibly nuanced and confusing. For something Glide is asking $1,000 per MONTH over AND no scalability, those explainers ought to be crystal glaring clear.

“Personal” users can only sign in using personal, nonprofit, or educational email address domains.

The “Personal” user restriction only applies to Free and Maker plans.

Team and above plans do not place restrictions on email domain used.

Thanks Jeff. How is this policed or determined?

Is there a set list of acceptable email domains? (gmail, edu, a bunch of orgs?) Can we see the list?

As in, if someone tries logging in with their own domain, Glide automatically rejects them? Or what happens?

Sorry I see they have a personal email checker tool here:

Yeah, they have some kind of internal list, but if an email is not accepted, the user will not be able to sign in.
