I am developing an app with Glide.
I started using the Team Plan trial on December 29 and switched to the Maker Plan with an annual payment on January 30.
I am experiencing an issue with login. Previously, as long as a user was pre-added, they would receive a PIN code and be able to log in.
Currently, Gmail addresses (e.g., @gmail.com) still receive the PIN code as expected. However, users with other domains, such as @itsumo-w.jp, are not receiving the PIN.
Can you provide a more specific definition of what qualifies as a “Personal User”?
I have reviewed the link you provided, but the exact conditions are unclear.
I understand that Gmail, Yahoo Mail, and iCloud are allowed.
Could you clarify what other criteria determine whether an email domain is considered personal?
Thank you for your response.
I would like to confirm one more point.
Are there any restrictions on the app’s content under the Maker plan?
The Business plan generally limits the number of users to 30, while the Maker plan allows a larger number of personal users to register. Is the Maker plan intended for individual users, such as customers of an e-commerce site?
In that case, if users register with email addresses like Gmail but the app is deemed to be for business purposes (e.g., a simple communication tool between companies), is there a possibility of any restrictions or limitations being imposed?
That’s not really the type of use case that the Maker plan is intended for, but no, there are no specific restrictions other than those given on the Pricing page. ie. Personal Users only, 500 updates, 25/50k rows, etc.
I recently inquired about personal users and have an additional question. In my Google account, I created an address like example+002@gmail.com using the alias function. While I was able to log in with this alias, I encountered errors during subsequent operations. Is it possible that addresses created as aliases are recognized as invalid?
Additionally, in Google Workspace, if I create multiple addresses from a single account (changing the domain to our company name), I understand that only one custom domain can be authorized. Can I use that domain?"
Initially, I tested the following flow without the user being registered:
Submit a request
Grant approval on our end
Receive an approval email
Click “Open App” in the email to log in
Everything worked fine up to this point.
However, when I attempted to execute an action that utilizes user information on the same screen, an error occurred.
Specifically, the error happened when trying to retrieve and transfer user details (such as name and ID) to leave a comment.
At that stage, I sent my previous inquiry. However, I later found a workaround: After logging in, close the window once and reopen it.
Since the cache remains, the login state is preserved, and executing the action afterward worked without any errors.
While I now know how to avoid the issue, I would appreciate it if you could help identify the underlying cause.
It belongs to the user who newly logged in by clicking the open app. I believe I confirmed that it was the same user before closing the window and after reopening it.
Sorry for the complicated question, and I appreciate your help.
