Cropped app icon when adding to home screen (iPhone)

May I know how to do “setting>latest version”? I couldn’t find any command to version update in setting…

Not settings in the top right, settings in the bottom left just underneath usage and billing etc

Thank you very much for your reply! I checked on the bottom left but did not show anything other than “members”, “usage”, and “templates”. It might be because I’m using free plan.

If you don’t see the Settings section on the Dashboard, it means you are not a Team Admin.

Thank you for your reply. I will try with admin user!

Another problem… I tried to sign in with the admin user, which is not google account but using my email, then the link should be emailed to me to sign in, but I never receive it. I just checked on in the community for the same problem and found you answering!
URGENT - Sign in link not arriving - #4 by Darren_Murphy

I checked my spam but nothing received… is there anything I can do?

If you are on the maker plan for unlimited public users, you can only use non business emails, if you enter an email jimmy@yourbusinessdomain.com this is a business link and you need to use the business plan or team plan. I personally appreciate the separation becoz they cannot allow unlimited business users who pay too little but they can allow unlimited public users who typically arent paying app users, the maker plan gives us scale, and businesses get to pay proper rates for using the platform

Hello there,
I apologize for not being to reply to you soon.
I understand what you say.
I am now using a free plan with my business domain email to check what I can do with glide.
Now I am thinking of upgrading, but since I cannot login, there is no way to upgrade.
What should I do, then?

maybe @NoCodeAndy can point you in the right direction?

Not being able to sign into an app that only allows personal emails hould have no effect on being able to sign into the glide builder to upgrade your plan. You can still sign into the glide builder using the same email that you used to build the app in the first place.

Thank you very much for your reply.

“To can still sign into the glide builder using the same email that you used to build the app in the first place”
Yes, I am trying to sign into glide builder with my email but the problem is that I cannot receive a magic link to sign in. I am facing the same problem with this

Can you try “Sign in with Google” instead?

Thank you for your comment.
Since I could not sign in with my email, I made another account with my google account. But it does not solve the problem… I cannot access to some apps that I made with my email account.

I agree. I wrongly assumed you had created your Glide account with a Google email address.

Back to the original email address where you aren’t receiving the pin … What’s the email address provider? Any chance you can check your email on another client/software? My idea is that if you used a telecom carrier email, such as ezweb or something like that, perhaps the email is being blocked from being sent to your phone, but you might be able to receive the email with the pin if you check through web mail from another device such as a computer?

Thank you very much for taking your time for me.
I already checked email server. It is working normally.
Since I used my business email for my account, I tested with my colleague’s email address to see if it works or not. And it was successful. He received the magic link to login.
I also provided the server admin with the email information I suppose to receive from glide, such as email address, subject name, and estimated time and asked if the server received it or not, the answer was no.

My email address receive emails from Sepy from Glidehello@glideapps.com regurarly. App sign in email is delivered.
But when I tried to invite my business email account to a team of glide builder from my another account with gmail, invitation email does not reach.

There are what I have done…

Your colleague used an email address with the same domain name? (@companyname.co.jp)

I was going to suggest that you ask the IT department of your company why they are blocking transactional/security emails that contain a login pin, but it seems you colleague received the email and not you? That would be a head-scratcher :face_with_spiral_eyes:

What do you mean with “I tested with my colleague’s email address to see if it works or not.” What did you test, and what worked? Is your colleague an admin of the team? If so, maybe you could ask them to invite another email address you own to see if that would work? This would still not be ideal, but the most important would be for you to access your Glide account to be able to work on the application.

Thank you very much for your reply.

What I tested is;
Yes, my colleague use an email address with the same domain name.

  1. I made a new account with my colleague’s email.
  2. sign in with colleague’s email
  3. my colleague’s email box received the magic link from glide!

I will check the other email with the same domain to see how it works.
Thank you very much for taking your time for me.

It is surprising your colleague is receiving the email with magic link and you aren’t. Are you sure the email isn’t in your spam or a promotions/marketing folder?

Thank you very much for your reply.
I know… it is very weird…
Yes, I already checked my spam mail box but nothing found.
