The Compose text action would only open up your device’s default messaging app and automatically add the message to the body. The user would still need to click “Send” for it to be sent. You are correct that ‘compose SMS’ is the only action now. It has migrated. I know this because it’s back to being stuck on the blank page:-(

What device are you testing it on? Are you sure that the number is not empty?

I’m testing on an iPhone X. It’s my number. I tried several times including other people’s numbers. Each time, the phone number appeared in the data table. I’m stumped.

Can you show me in what format are you entering the number?

Try to add +1 to it, assuming you’re in the USA.

I had a similar thought. (Will change the previous image to mask my number once we figure this out). The same blank screen is experienced with all of the following +1xxxxxxxxxx 1xxxxxxxxxx xxx-xxx-xxxx (xxx) xxx-xxxx

At this point I’m not sure anymore about what’s wrong with your device. If it persists I would suggest submitting a ticket.
