I have this screen where Finance can confirm whether the Payment Proof is real, and the button stopped working yesterday. Its programming is normal, nothing has been changed, but it just keeps loading and nothing happens. Any ideas on how to resolve it?
Also, I used to be able to ask for support for this app, and now it shows it’s a personal app and I can’t have support for it? I didn’t change anything, and this app runs most of the company operations, so this is really distressing and I don’t know why it changed!
If ‘Set column values’ is pulling values from ‘Add row’, it could be that these actions are triggering too fast. Could you try adding a 1 to 3-second ‘Wait’ action before ‘Set column values’ to see if that helps.
My first thought was “Those buttons are odd”. I hadn’t seen those in so long. I haven’t signed in to Classic since October 2022. I was skeptical at first, it took some convincing, I had a chat with Vincent, and from one day to the next I never looked back RIP Glide Classic.
Too many thigs to rebuild! Too many web hooks and everything. What do you mean with “wait condition”? I just checked and the e-mails triggered by this button are being send, but it seems to be the only thing happening…
Just a hunch here, try modifying the workflow and put the send email step in the last position and see if the previous steps have been executed.
I have the impression that there is a bug since yesterday with the send email action within Glide that stops the workflow (every steps after won’t be executed), at leats that’s what is happening on our side.
I just created a ticket, but it seems I’m not the only one.
I’m experiencing something similar. My actions after the send email action do not run. Not a classic app. For several actions that were previously working before midday (central US) 1/22.
I had to move from Classic (with 100+ actions that needed rebuilding) which required nearly all the screens to be recreated since some features in Classic (which I used a lot) did not map to new Glide. 80/20 rule - 80% of the app will migrate quickly; 20% will need rethink.
The effort was definitely worth it: the action editor is a HUGE upgrade - re-usability and tracking actions by table and the UI enhancement - beautiful on both mobile and web - are fantastic additions. Plus all the new features are Glide Apps only - not Classic.
You may want to check @Jeff_Hager’s posts - he put together a GREAT missive on some of the challenges he encountered when moving from Glide Classic.
But again - the new Glide Apps is a much richer dev and production environment and in almost all situations worth the investment.
So when you get the opportunity it is well worth the investment to migrate to the new Glide Apps.
Hello, so, I don’t know if it’s the same case as yours but for me the problem was my Google Sheet was out of lines! So I just created 1000 more lines and tested again, and it worked.
I have the same issue in my actions.
I’ve tested on two different (non-profit organization) accounts and on a few different apps. Since Yesterday morning, no actions after “Send email” are working.
All actions that used to work fine before.
Hey @Lucas_Malguy1, any update on this being resolved for you? I am also experiencing the issue: all actions are stopping after the Send Email step.
I have actions with multiple Send Email steps so I can’t use your last position workaround. Let me know if I can upvote the ticket or do anything else to help resolve this issue. Thanks
As of now there has not been an official fix but multiple users created tickets so I’m sure the Glide team will come with a solution in the short term.
