Are Titles Not Searchable?

Yeah, not the best UX, but at least worked

Good point. Might try that, but really liking how clean these Tiles are looking.

I had a thought… you’ve got lots of items and lots of images. Maybe search is struggling to perform properly because of the amount of data it’s having to continually reload. Try using no images in your tiles to see if search works properly (for testing). I could be wrong though.

I have a total of 37 tiles for various devices on there. I guess I could try though just to see what happens. Still confused though as to why it wouldn’t be searchable if it’s pulling the data from Device Category, displaying as a Group heading, but then not searchable. Seems like it should be searchable, ya know?

Well, what the heck… it’s now working. Glide team, did you just squash this bug all of a sudden? Ha ha.

Haha really?! Maybe bringing it into the tiles and then out of them made the search index itself and now it’s all good…?

Possibly. Strange, but I like it.

Could you share that app, please, and tell me exactly where you’re searching, and what you expect to see?

I feel like some things are off with search lately. For example, I have an inline list with checklist components inside and the text of the checklists is not found in search. Note that checklists are set for text to wrap so all text is displayed on details page level. Search should return a result for any text on details page, correct? Or are there exceptions?

Inline list components in detail screens are not searched when searching in the list screen.

Can it be so? It makes sense that all text regardless of the component it’s in, that is displayed at the details view level is searchable…It’s rendering search fairly ineffective for much of my app…Do I need to make a feature request?
