I understand! You know another service that can add text to a pdf beside pdf.co that would be much faster?
Yeah, PDF.co is super slow in my experience. I would suggest PDFMonkey.
That is a good solution! But it doesn’t work with already pdf uploads, right? I tried with image component and it works. Any html code to transform the pdf url in image? Or another solution?
Do you just need to add text or something else? Can you describe more about your use case?
@ThinhDinh
Yes. I have a form for uploading ingoing and outgoing documents/invoices and after I submit the form based on the form entries (company, date, number, type IN/OUT) I need to put a registration number in the pdf that the users uploaded. Basically, is a an app to store the documents. Now I use pdf.co and I don’t have a problem with the registration number, but is to slow. I need the pdf to come back to glide much faster because I need the pdf to be downloaded after. Sometimes I may have 100 documents/invoices to store in a day and the process is to long.
Hey @kabookie - Thanks for bringing this up - If you’re used to Zapier’s simpler setup, Make might feel different at first because of its visual, workflow design. However, this is exactly what allows Make to handle more complex tasks.
You can access the Make Academy which has courses from foundation level to advanced and should help you get your head around Make.
I hope this helps
Very cool @eltintero
This is great @Darren_Murphy and shows the importance of revisiting scenarios and optimising and refactoring! Always be improving for efficiency
Hey man, just want to post a message to say I appreciate you all’s product a lot. Our agency runs mostly on Make, I love the logic branching, the look, the functions and many more things.
That’s awesome to hear, thanks for sharing, @ThinhDinh!
I’ll share this internally with our product teams, they love hearing that their work is appreciated
I agree, Make.com makes our business thrive, I started on zapier, then moved to integrately after zapier pricing models were ferocious for me, then left integrately due to reliability, I found make.com and never turned back, it opened so many doors for me!
Here is my entry, there was too much to say about how we use Glide + Make so i decided instead to make it brief, to create a sample new app
Thank you everyone who shared their Glide + Make builds!
We’re compiling the entries, winners will be announced later this week.
You’ve been on a true automation platform journey, @Myles_Chaput - So happy to read that Make has been reliable, affordable, and opened more doors for you and helped your business thrive. Long may it continue!!
Love this, @abdo - Imagine everyone was using Glide and Make for 15 minutes a day to create useful tools.
Alright… we have our winners!
In first place: congratulations to @Myles_Chaput
- Myles was the first to jump on the challenge with his beast of a Make scenario. If that wasn’t enough, he followed up with the Rocketpros announcement on LinkedIn. His first-ever SaaS app launch was a perfect show n’ tell combo.
Runners up: @abdo, @AJRDesigns.co, and Bold Bureau
-
To paraphrase Abdo: “There’s way too much to say about how we use Glide and Make, so I decided to create a new app.” Now that’s a power move. Abdo built a social media assistant app in under 15 minutes. Check out the demo on LinkedIn.

Aaron @AJRDesigns.co was one of the first respondents to the challenge. While an unfortunate accident prevented Aaron from publishing on time, we did get to review his draft post. It’s a good one. We can’t wait to see it go live. On that merit, we’re including Aaron as a runner-up.
-
Last but definitely not least, The Bold Bureau showed us what a full no code stack can look like. They used a combo of Webflow, Airtable, Make, Glide, and Whalesync to deploy a new website + guest registration system for a local zoo, complete with physical membership cards and barcode scanners.
Honorable mentions: @Darren_Murphy, @eltintero
- Where would we be without our resident Glide Experts? Darren and Jesus brought their no-code chops to the challenge.
Thank you all for jumping in and building with Glide + Make. We’ll be in touch about your challenge rewards!
@Myles_Chaput 's senario was amazing! I learned about how much Make.com can do after seeing that!
Thanks for being kind enough to include me. I did finally finish my post. You can read it here on LinkedIn.
If you’re more visual like me, here’s a slideshow of my simple solution, which became HUGE for my client.
Its been a very busy week with launch!
And I am completely Humbled, and extremely Grateful to Glide and Make for all their support and continued automation and app developing wizardry!
Thank you so so much!!
I will show off whatever you send me! I’ve started others down the glide certification path as well!!!
