Why can't I change this column type?

I want to change this column type to “image only”. Right now it is completely empty… so I’m not sure why I can’t change it. I am able to change the column type if I make a new column, but I can’t change this one for some reason.

Because that is one you create in your Sheet, you can add an image link to the first row of that column and reload the editor, then it would become an image column.

Or you can create a new column through the glide data editor as an image column and it should keep the column type you select.
