I’m in South Africa, (will send link asap) here’s some more info… this happens on the builder and for the glide pages when accessing in chrome browser. I have a tab in my app that displays a data grid that’s editable. I have made that tab only visible to signed in users who’s role is admin. When i use the app in browser (as unsigned in user) then i don’t have the red page warning, and i can browse the apps without an issue. But as soon as i sign into the app/pages AND click on the Tab with the data grid that’s when the dangerous site warning pops up again. But just be aware, it seems others are having an issue with their apps, and apps don’t offer editable data grids. This issue for me is specifically with my glide pages project.
HI @SantiagoPerez same problem here (Germany) when users trying to open the app
After you will insert the PIN to access the app and goes to the Welcome screen (OpenExO Community Game) the error is there:
I got messages from different users in various locations (San Diego -US, Italy, Mexico, South Africa) same issue
Hi @Fab3r
I am still unable to reproduce. However, I have alerted the engineering team about it. We will keep you updated soon.
It is related to any link using https://storage.googleapis.com/glide-prod.appspot.com
Maybe it has something to do with updating the browser. I can still access the real app from safari.
Yes i also saw that✔️
Yes @Bert_Schoofs you are right, I just tested the same approach with a PNG
"https://storage.googleapis.com/glide-prod.appspot.com/uploads-v2/b5DkI6tlpHNfPRhuDuSs/pub/96Xv9HAdhjSgYBwUbVZr.png"
And got the error
@SantiagoPerez you can (I hope) reproduce the error opening a Gsheet file pointing to
https://storage.googleapis.com/glide-prod.appspot.com/
Hope it could help
You can bypass the warning by clicking details button and click visit this unsafe site. Not recommending that you do, just saying its an option. I’ve done that so i can access the app until they fix the issue. Nothing bad has happened to me yet, just the dangerous warning in the browsers URL/address bar
I updated my chrome browser to the latest version but am still getting the error screen.
However, the app works fine in Microsoft’s edge browser without any error/warning being displayed.
Chrome is confused by the URLs Glide uses for uploaded images. Glide is definitely not trying to phish - it’s safe to click on “visit this unsafe site”.
We’re trying to figure out how to resolve this issue.
By the way, I’m getting the warning on one app and not on another! This may help the tech team. So, it is not happening to all glide apps.
We are tracking this issue now as an incident and will be posting updates to the following page:
Thank you all for reporting and for your patience as we hurriedly work to get to the bottom of this problem.
Yup had my users with the same warning as well
Uruguay.
It happens when I enter glide at https://go.glideapps.com/ etc.
Should be resolved. Apologies.
