Send Email action isn't working

Describe the bug:

  • Send Email action is notifying an error each time we try to run it, and it isn’t sending any emails. Also if there’s any actions supposed to be triggered after it, they won’t trigger. After researching a bit, it’s showing a 402 error, with a Payment Required response. Not sure what that means.

Expected behavior:

  • Emails should be sent successfully.

How to replicate:

  • Create a button with a Send Email action and click it

Working fine for me. I recently experienced the same as I had entered text in the “reply” field….
Problem was solved when i emptied that field.

Our “reply to” field is empty. Also tested it by competing it but nothing seems to work

If this issue still persists, please get support from within Glide while the app is open by selecting the “?” button at the bottom right. That will bring you to a support page, which currently has an “Open Support Ticket” link.

@Diego_Vega has the issue been resolved for you? I’m experiencing the same problem, I keep getting the error message when the action tries to run. I have a send email action set up in a form, where users can send messages (topic + comments) to each other and I want to notify them when a new topic is created. The ai chat told me that the send email function is available on my free personal plan, there is a limit of 50 per day, I did not exceed that for sure. The email addresses are anonymized, but I’m collecting the emails in another column, I tried adding my email address manually as well, it does not work. I tried to use the send email with a simple button as well, not just the form, still does not work. Tried filling the fields in all ways, still errors…

While I’m not sure if all of that is true, please take what the AI chat says with a grain of salt. It can easily hallucinate and give you wrong info.

If you enable the action log, what do you see when you try to run that action?

Definitely, AI chat is not reliable most of the time… But I did not find any info either on the pricing table that the send email action would not be available and there is no prompt to upgrade (as in the case of other paid features). I’m using Safari, how could check the action log? On the action details the “recent runs” button does not appear any more… :confused:
