Hi Glide Team,
I’m reaching out with a serious concern regarding an unauthorized application that appeared linked to my Glide workspace, without my knowledge or consent.
Recently, while reviewing my project settings, I noticed that a duplicated app—titled something like “HabbitsHub”—had access to several of my internal data sources.
Here’s what raised my concern:
- I never created this project.
- The app appeared to be publicly accessible, while using data from my private workspace, where I am the sole administrator.
- At one point, it was visibly linked to some of my key internal tables.
I’d appreciate your help with the following:
- Clarify how this copied app was created and linked to my data.
- Review any internal vulnerabilities that could lead to similar issues.
Please treat this request, as it concerns sensitive intellectual property.
They add me in the publick app wihtout my approval > Link the tables with my Team > at this point they can see the structure.
Thank you for your attention and support.
Looking forward to your feedback.
Best regards,
PS: Already remove me from the problematic workspace
Maybe a fix for this problem, can be don’t be possible to add users on projects without a some kind of approval
Hello, welcome to Glide’s community forum.
-
Are you the only admin or member of your team? You can see this in the dashboard of your Glide account.
-
Directly from your dashboard, you can reach out to support. Bottom right there is a chat bubble. “Security breach” > “Get more help” > “Connect with support” > “Other”. Glide’s support team will then reach out to you via email.
What do you mean by “while reviewing my project settings”? Could you share a screenshot of what you are seeing and seems concerning. (Make sure you hide private information from any screenshots)
These are the data sources associated to your application/project. The tables you see there can be shared between projects/applications within the same team.
It would be helpful if you could share with us screenshots of what seems to be of concern.

doen’t work when i click in that bouble. But probably is my fault i install some new addons.
I allready remove me from the public prject, so it’s dificult to show more info.
If someone add me by email to some other project public, can have acess to private projects i have? specialy tables?
when i click there i have all the tables from both project with 1 link
Perhaps one of your browser add-ons is blocking the chat bubble. Try disabling a few of your add-ons, or try logging in through an incognito window (I think this will circumvent cookies but not add-ons), or try through a different browser just for this.
When someone adds you as a user to their app, or as a member or admin of their Glide team, no they do no have access to your Glide team or to your application/projects.
In the data editor when you click button left on data sources, you indeed see all the tables of your team available to be used in any of your applications/projects. One Glide Table can be used in multiple applications, this is a powerful feature whereby you can for example build a customer-facing app and an internal admin app with both apps running on the same tables (database).

Are we talking about 2 teams or 1 team here? When you say the “public project”, is it the one where you are the only member?

Hello Spliner,
I use Glide apps for one year, there was never a single data leak between users.
Glide Use firestore/firebase Google database a provider and mutations. It’s generally extremely safe even for Fortunes 500.
Can you ask Glide apps last ip asked on the tables? Maybe you can track leaks.
Take care, François
You also need to know who is table owner in Glide Tables, it’s important.
