Is there anyway to have the search bar with details view (with an inline list)?

Yes. Select the inline list, tap “Options” on the right, check “show search bar”

Other note: if you have multiple inline lists on the tab you have to select “Search” for each one. The search bar will appear at the top but will only search the Inline lists that are ‘searchable’
