Recent change in OpenAI integration?

Description

  • I have an app that I developed a couple of years back and integrated with OpenAI. I make a call to OpenAI’s API with a dynamic prompt for each new record. All was working well for many months until “recently”. By “recently” I would estimate something around 4-6 weeks. (I don’t use the app every day or even every week.) “Recently”, I see this error in the column populated by the result of the prompt: “You exceeded your current quota, please check your plan and billing details. For more information on this error, read the docs: https://platform.openai.com/docs/guides/error-codes/api-errors.
    My other ChatGPT interaction seems to be working just fine. I am (and have been) on the Plus tier. Any ideas?

How to replicate

  • List the steps, in detail, for recreating the issue.

Can you check if your API key is working? I would try adding a new API key to see if it helps.

@ThinhDinh It looks like this must be related to the fact that I am using the free Glide plan and the OpenAI (Legacy) integration. I am guessing that this integration must have been deprecated fairly recently. I do see an OpenAI integration option in the current Glide UI (without Legacy) but it looks like I need to up my Glide plan. Can you please confirm that I’m on the right track?

I’m not sure which integrations the Free Legacy plan has access to, but yes, on the latest plans, you have to be on at least Maker to have access to it.
