I was so happy to stumble on this yesterday, and did not realize how new it was! I am making a chores and rewards app to encourage my tech addicted kids and am hoping to make a similar one to help students (I’m a teacher of highschool) with group work management. The main problem I’m encountering in both of these is that I need to add up points earned, by user, and be able to keep these separate, but sometimes they are coming from different places, then they can redeem points to claim a reward, too, and I am currently using a form to have them submit completed tasks which creates a new row with user and point info, then I have a if-then-else to recognize the email if they submitted the job or their name if someone put them in the helper choice menu of the form and this will write each of their points to a separate column, then I thought I could sum that, except the rollup feature will only give me the count option, not sum because I guess it doesn’t recognize them as numbers anymore. Then I will still need to figure out how to subtract redeemed rewards but I got stuck here.
I feel like I’m missing an obvious solution.

There is a chat feature you can add and I think he puts it in during the Employee Directory App Build. I didn’t watch the whole thing but I can see it there at about 30 minutes so back it up a little and you should see. Here is a link to that: Build an Employee Directory in Glide

I have watched all 50 videos in glideapps.com/learn, in 2 days! I’ve learned a lot and I see myself building a lot of glide apps for my friends and organizations I interact with. I’m an IT Project Manager with intermidiate coding skills. So glide was easy for me to understand. I will go through the project management video and see what I can add to what has been done. Glide pricing is something I want to spend more time with too.

Hey @Santiago_Perez1 - @Antonio and I have talked a lot about this and I looked into this again this morning.

I thought you could auto-generate CC in other languages in YT, but I can’t see that (maybe I’ve just missed it).

I would love to have the videos translated. At the moment though, I change the videos so often it doesn’t make lots of sense to do all of them. Perhaps we could look into getting some of the basics translated.

This is totally on the horizon for Glide Education though and I think Spanish is certainly the first language we would look at adding captions for.

YouTube generated English subtitles are available for your videos. Don’t know if you can set some preference to ask YouTube to translate subtitles in other languages. I have seen that in other courses.
By the way your English sound nice, polite & easy to follow.

Good start. This project manager app is basic but good enough to show what you can do with glide. I would like to see the project metrics or a calculation dashboard in the Office Management tab e.g. total # of tasks, % completed, # of late tasks, etc. Lots of stuff missing…but good mvp.
