"Maker Plan - Only 500 Updates? I feel cheated and disappointed."

Hi Glide team,

I’m currently using the Maker Plan ($60/month) and I must say: I feel completely disappointed and misled.

500 updates per month? Seriously?

This limit makes the app almost unusable in any real business case. With a small team simply updating order statuses daily, I run out of updates in just a few days. I expected more for a paid plan — something usable, not something that locks me out after minimal usage.

This feels like a trap. The pricing looks attractive, but the restrictions are hidden until it’s too late. I was excited to build something serious with Glide, but now I feel like I’ve paid for nothing.

Please reconsider this model. Either increase the limits for Maker Plan or be transparent that this plan is for display only, not real operations.

This needs to be heard. And honestly, I’m already considering switching platforms.

Thanks.

What data source are you using? You will incur updates if you use 3rd-party data sources, and updates are free if you use Glide’s native data source (Glide Tables).

Note that the Maker plan includes 500 free updates per month, it is not capped at 500. You can set your account to automatically purchase additional updates if and when needed. With this pay-as-you-go setup, you have the option to scale if and when needed. The cost is $0.02 per additional update (equivalent to $1 per 50 additional updates).

Not sure why you say it was a trap. It was literally there on the pricing page.
