Hello I am new to Glide Apps. I love the tools, look, and features available. I tried to create a restaurant app with Glide Apps and got totally confused. It’s as if I was in the middle of a galaxy.

:green_circle: I need a coach or a mentor to help me work on simple restaurant projects that allow customers to select items from a menu category, menu, add to cart, checkout and pay. I am willing to pay up to $40 an hour for coaching time.

:100: :point_right: Please only respond to this post if and only if you have already built restaurant apps with Glide Apps. I prefer someone with experience in the restaurant industry. You can also post a link to some of your past restaurant app(s) you’ve built.

shopping cart is one of the most difficult think to do, it have to control inventory and sales in the real time

I tried to create a custom action button to get the item info from the items sheet and put them in the cart sheet but it will take the item info but it doesn’t take the item location and I think this is a bug BTW the item location is in the same row
I also founded some tutorial video online but unfortunately it’s in spanish language

item location should be a row ID … you can relatate it in shopping cart to a inventory
