I remember I had never “signed-in” on the emulator, although I was shown as signed-in. At the layout’s component option pane, when I selected filter condition of “row owner is signed-in user” there was no effect. I had to click “sign out” in the emulator. Then the screen refreshed. Then the filter condition becomes effective.

So maybe I am expected to sign-in when working on an app.

If you’re “viewing as” a user then you’re technically signed-in on the builder, unless you choose “anyone” then you will view the app as an anonymous user.

I’m not clear about this. Maybe a video or some screenshots would help, if you can reproduce it.
