Is there a way to add a new column after a selected column vs always at the end?

When adding new columns to a Glide sheet I see the app builder always adds it to the far right end. I often want to group related columns side by side. Currently, I have to drag my new column to my desired place with one or more drag-left-and-drops.

Glide Table: add a column where you want it

Nothing fancy here, it would just be nice to be able to choose where a new column is placed / inserted in the Glide Table, instead of it always landing at the end of the tab. Case use: I have one tab that has over 50 columns in it and, when creating new ones, it’s a bit of a pain to have to drag it all the way to the left so that it’s positioned where I need it to be for ease of reference and use when I could just put it where I need / want it in the first place.

Exactly. Glide knows what column is currently selected so perhaps the simplest fix would be to add after the currently selected column.
