Is anyone else experiencing the navigation bar disappearing when using “Show Detail Screen → Overlay”?
This is quite frustrating as it significantly alters the UI experience.
For reference, the navigation bar does remain visible when using:
Ideally, Current would be the preferred option, but it has the drawback of scrolling all the way to the top on large lists, which isn’t ideal either.

I don’t think this is a bug, overlay screen doesn’t show the navbar because it’s an overlay, it’s in the name. Usually, overlay screens are for forms or info about the clicked item.
You’re right, this must be intended.
Now you have me in doubt. I memorize it as always be the case for overlays like Mazen suggested above.
They changed it yesterday. However I have already adapted to the change.
So what you did is not using an overlay anymore?
I continued using it as the other options don’t work with my app. The other option scroll all the way to the top upon click back no idea why very strange idea. So I decided to go with the flow and stick with my current set up. Not much can be done really
