Our new Explorer plan makes powerful features like Workflows, Glide AI, and integrations more accessible – starting at just $25 per month.
The Explorer plan is for builders who want to go deeper with Glide, without jumping straight into a Maker or Business plan.
It’s a great way to build smarter apps and see what Glide’s truly capable of, making it ideal for:
Learning how to build software
Expanding your Glide usage beyond the Free plan
Building side projects, functional prototypes and MVPs in Glide
Important: Explorer is a new addition to our pricing lineup, not a replacement for any plans. All existing plans (Free, Maker, Business, Enterprise) remain unchanged.
This is a great start to being competitive in a very tough environment.
At $25 per month, you kinda expect custom branding and custom domain to be part of the package.
That’s the only “barrier” or friction point i noticed but like i said its a good start but that needs looking into.
It’s a great plan for those starting a project, but I’m still sad about my legacy business plan because of the 30-user limit.
“Ok, then go to the Maker plan!” → And lose access to APIs, Big Query, File Storage… Essential for my apps.
“Then go to the new Business plan!” → And increase $420 (70 users * $6), approximately 168.67% more than before and totally out of my budget! And yes, I use close to 100 users, most of whom use personal Gmails just for login.
“Then stay on Legacy!” → And stay out of the new automatic actions and run the risk of Glide discontinuing the plan at any time, just like Glide will do with the classic apps.
I don’t mind paying a little more, because I really value this tool and understand Glide’s need to seek what’s best for its own business. But unfortunately this plan is completely out of budget.
Suggestion: Create a new plan, it could even be called the “Agency Plan” plan, which would be the combination of Bussines + Maker, the value of both subscriptions: $309 and maybe even a little more, with the business tools + unlimited personal users. It would be a great gateway for makers to purchase larger plans and encourage people like me to leave the legacy, even increasing Glide’s revenue.
AMAZING This is something I’ve wanted for a very long time – as it’ll make Glide a LOT more accessible cos $60/month is quite steep for many people, while still giving them a taste of some of the awesome paid features
I just created a new Team and upgraded the plan to Explorer. After payment the Team plan has the correct tags to show it is on the Explorer plan. I then tried to transfer an App that is in another Team but I get this message:
The App is not published and is currently in a team that has a live Explorer plan (with 1 other published app). Do I just need to wait for systems to synch? I trust this is a temporary glitch?
Interesting proposition! That said, without the inclusion of a custom domain, it feels quite similar to the free plan, which makes it difficult to see the added value. Including a custom domain would make a significant difference and help justify the upgrade.
+1 to this. I’ve been on the (Legacy) Starter plan for years and would love to switch to the Explorer plan so that I can tweak my app with CSS but we’re using a custom domain and I really don’t want the hassle of trying to work around it.
I would like to use Radar to track location, distant. How many data can be sent per month? I purchased Maker plan already. Anyway, do I have to pay more for Explorer to use Radar?
Radar is available on Explorer. If you have access to Maker already, I would check if it gives access to Radar as well. You can do this by trying to add Radar integration to an app in the Maker team.
All of Radar’s actions take 1 update. On Maker, you have 500 updates, then +2¢ / update for anything over 500.
I am developing an app for taxi drivers which have more than 10,000 users log in simultaneously. And Radar might be run at more than 10,000 updates per day. How much do I have to pay per month?
Which plan should I select?
