We’ve simplified our pricing plans and made them more powerful.
The Free plan continues to be your best way to learn Glide, and now includes Glide Big Tables as a data source.
The new Maker plan is for experimenting and validating ideas. It lets you publish up to 3 apps (instead of only 1). It includes Glide Big Tables with 50,000 rows per app (double the previous limit). You also get 25GB of file storage, a 5x increase from the old 5GB limit.
The new Business plan combines our old Team and Business plans. It’s ideal for organizations who need flexibility and scalability. There’s support for Airtable and Excel data sources, and up to 100k rows per app on Glide Big Tables. It also adds support for the Glide API (read and write) and Call API, plus our upcoming Scheduled Workflows feature. It includes 30 users and 5000 updates per month, with the freedom to scale up as needed.
The Enterprise plan includes SQL data sources, along with 100+ new data sources like Salesforce, HubSpot, QuickBooks, and more. We’re also adding data backups.
These changes apply to new teams and plan subscriptions starting today. They do not affect your existing subscriptions.
It would appear that for every pricing update that Glide releases, the in app update price goes up alot. Can someone explain to me the backend of glide and why the updates are being inflated each time so heavily?
From 25k (for all) updates ($250/mo) to 10k (for external updates @ $250/mo) now to 5k updates in the business plan for $200/mo. Correct me if i’m wrong, going off memory.
I would like to suggest that you could give more notice time for price changes. It is impossible to keep up with Glide as there have been 2 price changes this year.
I was developing for 2 clients who were going to hire the $99 USD package and now I find that they will have to pay double the estimated amount just because the MAKER package does not include the GLIDE API, and also considering that now I only have 25 GB. I couldn’t fit into Make Plan and the difference between $69 and $199 is a lot
It is very difficult to work with Glide for the simple fact that they have no stability or “future planning”.
Hi Andy, thanks for the updates and introducing the new plans.
I have a couple of questions regarding the transition:
• How can I upgrade from my now “Legacy Maker” plan to the new Maker plan changes, specifically to take advantage of Glide Big Tables? Will I need to rebuild my existing app, or is there a smooth migration process available?
• The new 50,000 row limit with Glide Big Tables is a “soft” limit, right? I’m curious if there will be an option in the future to increase this limit – similar to how additional updates can be purchased?
Also, I’d really prefer if existing plans could be extended or enhanced at no additional cost.
Thanks in advance for the clarification and for the great work you’re doing with Glide!
Hi @NoCodeAndy , just to clarify… will I be able to renew my subscription at the old pricing as shown here? I have no need for the expanded version of the plan.
Andy, could you tell me if the Barcode Scanner feature is going to be included in the new Business plan or is it going to be an add-on to the Enterprise plan because they forgot to mention it in the price list, thank you very much!
CRUD changes in Glide Tables and Glide Big Tables no longer count as updates. That was a significant change for teams working with large volumes of data. What count as updates now are more resource intensive, like syncing with external data sources. The tweaked plans should reflect that.
Cancel your subscription and resubscribe to the new Maker plan. The same is true for the Legacy Business plan. Just cancel and resubscribe to the new plan.
You won’t need to rebuild your apps.
It’s a hard limit for the Maker plan. If you need more rows, you can upgrade to a Business plan or contact our sales team for a custom quote.
We’re not touching Legacy plans, but if that changes, we’ll give plenty of advanced notice. The team’s been very mindful – and diligent – about not moving longtime customers off their plans unless absolutely necessary.
So guys, it’s fine to simplify the pricing, but this is killing everyone who wanted to switch to a team plan. By dictating pricing for those with a business plan starting at $5 a month after the 30th user. And I think that’s absurd, especially for people who have to do this plan with apps that have maybe hundreds of users!
I just don’t understand why you can’t have in the maker plan, users using their business email.
Hi Hassan
No, currently I only have 1 active client in Glide, even yesterday I contacted them to request information about the “certified expert” since I plan to add my 2 new clients to Glide at the beginning of 2025 (I currently manage them with another provider)
It would be nice, or at least that they handle it with the possibility of “add on”, I could work with the 25 GB, I can expand the 500 updates, but paying $199 just to use the GLIDE API does not seem affordable to me
But the best thing would be to give more time to notify the package changes… It is impossible to develop a project with so many changes in the pricing schemes.
Really glad the limit of one app for the Maker Plan has been increased to 3, but the price is US$86 per month? Is that a new price or has it been that for a while?
