Glide's new simplified + enhanced plans

Maker was 60$ billed monthly and 49$ per month billed yearly - for each app.

So they are $23 per app now yearly and $29 monthly?

It seems the older Maker plan still includes it but the newer one not.

It didn’t show the integration before as well, as they build it with the Make.com integration. Maybe it should have been clearer.

No, it’s $69 per month if billed yearly. If it were what you are saying I would switch immediately. @NoCodeAndy please confirm.

Of course, if you have 3 apps and not 1, it’s quite favorable.

Yeah I meant to say $23 per month if billed yearly.

I understood you but I didn’t see any indication that you can scale the price down if you only have one app. Else I would switch to the new plan and cut my expense in half as the Legacy Maker plan is $49/month billed yearly for 1 published app.
I’ll be really happy to be wrong on this.

Ahh you mean you don’t always need to have 3 apps, I understand that.

You can still keep the old pricing though, just make sure the connected card always has enough money. I have seen people being taken off their legacy pricing because of failed payments.

Yes. Some of us just require 1 app, lol.
The new plan is a great way to encourage production of multiple published apps… Maybe in the future I can benefit from that.

The difference in value for a developer that manages 1 app versus 3 is extreme.

Okay @NoCodeAndy , but $500 starting per month is absurd if you develop an app whose “only” complexity is to have a high user base…

Almost twice as much as the previous Team plan!

Is this only because having users with corporate addresses we cannot switch to a Maker plan, it seems like a joke

I think the maker plan is much better now with 50K rows. As an improvement row limit should be flexible. You pay 69$ per month and you can have access to 3 apps with 50K rows limit per app. Would be great to leave the option to pay more if you need more like in make.com. For example if you need 25K rows more for a single app you pay X$ more, if you need 50K rows more you pay 2X$…

This case everyone would be able to meet its needs. Glide made users and updates modular, would be great to make the same for rows.

Regarding personal user limitation, I don’t understand this limitation. Does Glide App pay more when a professional user logs in ? if yes => just charge extra amount per professional users that login instead of limiting it totally.

@NoCodeAndy edit, add, delete row with the enterprise plan. Does it still count as updates ?

Hi @NoCodeAndy on the previous business plan the user count was 40 and the table limit up to 10 Millions rows on BT. The change in the row limit seems quite excessive especially given this is the second significant change in less than a year?

Exactly! I agree with you, we have few users with their company email, and if we change with a maker plan they could not access anymore.

So basically, we can pay extra for these users but give us the option of having them in our app if we choose the maker plan!

Hi, @NoCodeAndy Just read the 100k row limit on big tables with the business plan, I may be mistaken but I was under the impression they could have up to 10 million rows until now as that’s what I’ve read on the website and other community posts. This seems like a very big change and could cause a lot of issues.

Just a note: 50k rows only available because of the big tables. If you will not use big tables in your apps the limit is still 25k, I believe.

Would also be great if there was an option to play less if you only need one app. Or a non-profit discount. That said, 3 apps for that price is a good deal, as long as I can encourage schools to take on extra apps when it’s just one they need. Hard to think of a multi-app package that would suit everyone

When you start thinking about different use cases with shared data between them, the opportunities for the Maker plan open up quite a bit.

E.g. for a prototype:

  • Public “demo” app with no authentication
  • Private “member/customer” app with authentication
  • Admin app with dashboards, config settings, etc…

Another one, let’s say for a school:

  • Student app for reviewing and completing assignments
  • Teacher app for creating, issuing, and reviewing assignments
  • Admin app to manage the entire system

And if you’re interested in doing more with AI agents:

  • App for agent computations and workflows; has a minimal UI
  • App for user interaction with the AI agent
  • App for user management, agent config, etc…

Enterprise plans are custom plans, so it’ll vary depending on the use case.

The Maker plan still includes access to Make and Zapier.

Check the comparison table at the bottom of the pricing page for more info.

The previous Maker plan did not have access to the Glide API either. The Maker plan does have access to both Make and Zapier integrations.
