Images Page Indicator

Page Indicator 1/2, 1/3 or 1/4 on the first image for image carousel does not auto appear to prompt user to swipe for more images. They only appear when I try to swipe on the main image to see if there are more photos within and there I would be able to see the indicator. And often viewing of more images is missed when users do not swipe. How do I make the indicator stick on the main image (first image)?

@eugenie it is a true hassle and I hope glide will make a native solution for the problem.

Yes, page indicator used to be there, so useful… then it disappeared one day (no 2 secs)… looking forward to the return of that feature. Many thanks for showing the workaround, great!!
