Email Login Issue - "This email address does not have access to this app"

Hello Glide Community,

I’m facing an issue with my Glide app where users are unable to log in, even though their email addresses have been added to the “Users” table. When they attempt to log in, they receive the following error message:

“This email address does not have access to this application. Please try another.”

Here are the details of my configuration:

  • The app is set to access “Private” and users “Users table”.
  • I have verified that the emails in the “Users” table are correctly entered with no formatting issues.
  • I’ve ensured that the app is properly synced with the data table.
  • I’ve tested different emails and even tried adjusting the privacy settings temporarily (to “Public” and back to “Private”) without success.

Despite all this, users are still unable to log in. I’ve also checked spam folders for the authentication emails, cleared browser cache, and used different browsers, but the issue persists.

Could this be related to a bug or a configuration issue that I may have missed? Any advice or troubleshooting steps would be greatly appreciated.

Assuming you are on a Free or Maker plan this is expected behavior. For the Free or Maker plans you can only use personal Emails.
