Edit form not updating airtable content

Hi everyone,
I have made a glide page and on one of them I enable to user to update the status of something. I used a ‘show edit screen’ button which open and then allows them to edit the status. However, after a few second the status defaults back to the previous value - preventing the user from updating the status. I have attached a picture of the edit screen.

I tried changing it to a choice component and it updates it some of the time but sometime it just doesn’t work. I will update it and then a few seconds later it will change back and never actual update the airtable record.
