Custom Domain Reverted to Default Domain

When I went to my app domain address: I was shown this error: “Error 1000: DNS points to prohibited IP”. I went into Glide Apps to look at my app and noticed that my app domain reverted back to the default glide domain: and the app was no longer accessible at my custom domain. I went through the process of adding my custom domain again, and that fixed the issue. But how did the domain revert happen and how do I prevent this from happening again?
