In Employees tab (for example), I added one relation column to link each employee raw to another tab (assignments) - and then I added a lookup column to get a number from that relation.
I don’t see this lookup value as an option under component
Are you setting the relation to multiple?

Can you try setting it back to single to see if it works the way you want?

Lookups mostly work with single relation, and especially if you want to create templates. That’s why I always create two relations (Multiple and single for same relation).
