There seems to be a change regarding apps with neutral background color in their settings. Why has the neutral background color (grey) gone so light nearly white !!
this hugely effects the UI UX and was it announced?

Try putting the components in question in a Container
Then click the Container → Background 
Doesn’t seem to do anything really for me ?
Add to that we can’t put most of our collection components in a container, that would remove their title style appearing at the top of the screen in dark or accent
Is there any update from Glide on this? will the neutral color ever come back?
