Man this is a really ingenious way to crowdsource. I like the user signup process too. Great work
@Jonathon_Kohn looks really nice.
You have taking in a very large area. If lots of people decide to help and put in data - will the app get to much data to be easy accessible for the people to use?
If you are willing to share your app - making it copyable let us know. It is interesting to see the app underneath the hood😎
Keep up the good work:+1:
How did you build the signup process?
Hey there @Jonathon_Kohn! This is fantastic. I released a similar one on Saturday and it has taken off in Milwaukee as well. Plus, there are about 6 other individuals that showed interest in building one for their community after posting in a FB group I’m a part of.
Here are the current live ones

We have a slack channel going if you’d like to join. Just email me at paul@lemleymedia.com and we’ll get you and your team tied in.
Love it! Mine isn’t quite as extravagant as yours…
Great job to you!
I was thinking the same thing. I know you can create a google “form” that will import the data into the spreadsheet. Is there another way?
@Jonathon_Kohn would you like to list this in the template gallery? If the sheet doesn’t contain private information, let me know and I can add it.
Not sure how many is too many… @david?
I created all the fields I needed to take in then set visibility rules on each one. The users are pulled into a sheet using =unique and each prompt is filtered to their email
Thanks for the in-app comment David! I would prefer to keep this template private for now. Thanks so much!
You can do forms in the glide app in case you weren’t aware. Just use a Form Button.
I was able to gamify the app tonight by allowing users to collect a “trophy” upon adding a new restaurant or editing and existing one.
Next move, allow them to spend there trophy’s on real world items or allow others to donate directly to them based on the number of trophy’s they’ve collected vs other users…
I created an app for St. Louis. stlouistrong.glideapp.io
@paullemley thanks for the inspo! I’d love to join your slack group
Thank you! I found that and now have it up and running. Check it out and let me know what you think.

Did you build this yourself or is there a guide out there somwhere that shows how to do this?
Looks good!
Built from scratch. I’m obsessed with pushing glide apps to their limits
