I think since IOS 26, we lost the “black-translucent” meta tags effect for the status bar*…
And so installed webapps loose transparency behind status bar…
So even if we can change the color of the bar dynamically, we cant have a complete full screen image for example…
We have submitted a bug report to Apple Feedback Assistant, and I suggest that everyone in this thread do the same. If Apple receives a significant number of complaints about this issue, it increases the likelihood that they will address and fix it.
