Using group in inline list makes tiles lay on top of each other

Has just been reported to Glide

The situation
Found a bug related to use of group functionality in inline list

When the group functionality is used then images in tile layout sometimes (but very often) will lay on top of each other after a list item has been clicked to go to detail screen - and then return to the inline list.

Have only seen it when there is one tile in a row

Workaround

  • Don’t use the group functionality is this situation!

“don’t use group functionality” isn’t a workaround. This is a bug and there isn’t a good workaround for it.

I know. It is a bug and reported as that😎

Glide is working on a fix. ETA unknown.

The problem is not fixed - so reopening.

@SantiagoPerez Any news on fix for this problem?

@SantiagoPerez has this bug been fixed. If not then it is not that nice that bugs are automatically closed after 30 days if they are not fixed. I hope that glide has noted in their internal system that a bug has been identified and they have a reference to the community post where the bug is described. Then it is possible to write in the community post that the bug has been fixed when a fix is rolled out

No yet!

Engineering is working on it.
