Privacy settings are…
Access = Private
Users = Users Table

Authentication settings are…
PIN emails from glide - Blue/Checked
“Include magic link to sign in without PIN” - Unchecked
Sign in with Google - Unchecked

I made an onboarding process that hides all screens until they have completed the process.

I add the user to the user table email column, and send the invite.

Previously, it would open in a browser to the sign on screen, and prompt them to add it to their homescreen.

Now it shows the sign in screen for a second then opens the onboarding process in the browser, without prompting them to add to homescreen.

What gives?

Do you have Required Sign in, or Optional?

What visibility settings do you have on your Onboarding screen?

I dont see this listed as an option in any settings. The “PIN Emails from Glide” is blue although greyed out. If i check “Sign in with Google” it becomes adjustable again. My assumption is it needs you to have at least one sign in method, and i have Google unchecked.

The app is Private though.

Each user has an “onboarding” column, that goes from empty to 1, 2 and once complete it shows 3.

The onboarding screen shows when Onboarding column is not 3.

oh yeah, sorry my mistake. You wouldn’t see those options if it is Private :man_facepalming:

Is it possible that these users have signed in the App previously and their authentication cookie is still valid?

This could be it although I tried with my wifes email and she also skipped it. I tried enabling Terms and Conditions checkbox to see if that would force them to see the sign in screen and still nothing.

Its not the end of the world, but it brings them to the onboarding screen without always giving the prompt about “add to homescreen” which makes a big difference from a functionality and appearance POV.
