🆕 Updates to the Glide + Make integration

I haven’t used the Make Glide module much, but I thought it gave you human readable column names? I could swear it did the few times I tried it out.

What I do is map all my tables in Make Data Structures, which allows me to attach my own labels to all columns, and then refer to those in other modules.

This is great but i’m not about to manually assign names to over 200 columns, waste of my time

Yes, it is a bit tedious, but it only needs to be done once.
And you can use the Generator option to create the Data Structure, so it’s not too bad.
I made the effort, because I use these same Data Structures in many different scenarios.

It seems that the integration doesn’t work anymore?
It seems deactivated in Make, and I cannot check “My organisation” to (re)install the integration.

We’re working on an update.

Keep in mind the link in David’s post was to an in-development preview.

Do you know when the update will be live? I have alot of integrations built on this, and am wondering if i’ll need to redo them all to match a new make.com module?

I wouldn’t think an update means you have to re-do all your modules. Old modules should just work as is, and for new scenarios you can use the updated one.

What plan do you need to be on in order to be able to use the Make integration?

Within the next couple weeks (assuming we don’t hit any issues). Details to come!

Looking forward to hearing all the juicy details!! I am a MAKE.com Obsessor, I port anything and everything I can to that platform, I have used zapier, and integrately, and by FAR make.com is the most reliable and best platform i have used, the low code part makes it far more flexible! make.com is integral to my use of the glide platform to its fullest extent!

Basically our entire medium sized collision shop is automated thanks to this application, and some savvy connecting of all the dots

Agree with this, been a Make user since the Integromat days. Absolutely love it.

Currently having this issue , what do I do?

There is nothing to do. We need to wait until they release the new integration.

Yes that is the error that brought me here in the first place, will hurry up and wait

Just recently my glide integrations on make.com stopped working entirely, is there a way we can at least keep them rolling until the new change has happened? I have my entire app relying on this

added note: cannot access support either getting an error upon loading support screen, submitted ticket already on this to see what is happening

Hi @Myles_Chaput!

This integration is in beta, thus making it not production-ready.

My advise would be to use the direct API through the HTTP module; requiring a bit of more manual work but you can find all the data and information on the bottom of each table. There is a “Show API” button; there you can find all the info you need.

If you rely on the integration and need it working ASAP, this would be my first advise, otherwise you can wait for an update or the beta integration to be up and running again.

Documentation on the API:

Cheers!

Not what I wanted to hear, more rework LOL! I’ll wait till morning if nothing has changed, can’t keep clients waiting!

I also noticed the issue. It would be nice if we could get more information when this Make.com integration is production ready. Please update us on the status.

Today I rebuild with http API calls. But am update would be great to help me maybe save a days worth of work and only do the critical scenarios first!
