DId you look at the community messaging app? It does not use comment based design and uses my script notification system. [image] Glide's Community Built Messenger Project Showcase @Jeff_Hager reworked the CSS field for us once again and gave us an even better entry field that expands for multiple lines. Yes, thanks, joined the conversation a few days ago :+1:t3:

I noticed that chat messages appear to be added as comments. Is that just using the standard comments component? (along with its constraints)

It is just a comments component. In my opinion, it’s the best component to use that doesn’t add additional rows to your app. Limited to text messaging only though. Waiting for that chat component  [image] We need a chat component Feature Requests It is incredibly rare for us to have a dedicated chat screen where all users are talking to each other. It would be much more practical to have a chat component. The interface would be identical to the chat screen, but it would function exactly like the comments component—Unique topic, sorting oldest to newest, etc. Bonus for the chat component to also allow photos/files. I would say 75% of all my clients have asked for legit chat functionality. This would be the biggest win since Actions.

Well dang! Nice! I bought the old one…:frowning:

You can download the new one for free. Just revisit the template store.

Can you add the template to another existing app in order to use that feature?

No…sorry, you have to rebuild it.
