I was using a joined list of a computed column (The computed column is a single value trough relation to GBT) trough a query with filters. This worked fine, Somewhere within this week this functionality was pulled. This resulted in a semi live app not working anymore.
I copied the unfunctioning column to learn more and a notification popped up that this computed column is not supported on this data source.
I already have a solution to fix this. The problem is that this column without any warning such as ''Experimental label" could be used to build apps with, and functionality pulled without any warning as of my knowledge which could result in disfunctioning app.
And when clicked on the learn more of the notification is sends me to BigQuery documentation. While It’s a regular glide table
It is disabled, but the app worked in the beginning. And I havent come across anywhere in the community, status or announcement that a feature is pulled back into beta/preview. It would be nice to know ahead, so people who are dependant on those features are being made awear as early as possible so have much time to find other solutions, instead of unexpectedly find their app dysfunctioning. Or am I missing something here?
The “more computed columns” feature with Big Tables hasn’t yet been officially released, so nothing has been “pulled back”.
Joined Lists of computed columns are not “officially” supported with Big Tables, and never have been. The only way it could have been working is if you had the preview feature enabled.
