Turn OFF Add To Home

While many are asking for better Add To Home functionality, I actually would like to turn off the function. Is this even possible?

How to remove "Add This App To Home Screen"

I tried to redirect my site to “siteurl.com/full” which is working, though when you open it on mobile it still ask to “Add This App To Home Screen”. Please help @David, as the desktop mode is great and thought I had it solved with this redirect. Any way to to get to the desired outcome? Thank you.

hi @Jeff_Hager, this process should work but I still have it piping up on desktop, though it doest redirect directly to the /full.

Have you had any lucky otherwise without the Add To Home?

@Perrin I haven’t tried or had the need to remove the add to homescreen function. My app is an app first, and that’s how I view Glide in general, so I prefer the popup and I don’t really picture it as a website. I only shared your post so @Bob_Lelle could see prior discussion about this same issue. I don’t have a strong opinion or view either way. Just wanted to share other posts that I had remembered reading before.
