The app seems to be stuck on the previous search results, even after a full restart

The app seems to be stuck on the previous search results, even after a full restart it opens up on the same search results. Any ideas on how to resolve this? Should i report a bug or is there a way it can be disables?

Thanks for your help

I suggest you to use the auto trigger use case:

Hey Maxime how do i prevent is from saving the search results. could kindly give me a step by step instruction. Many thanks in advance!

Yes, well, the auto trigger could just clear the input field on page load. And that would work for you!

I have no idea where to start is that under workflows?

Looks like a native search, rather than an entry component.

Hey Jeff the classic apps used to reopen in refresh everything now do we have to make workflow to stop the search bar from saving results?

It’s a native feature. We can’t control how it works. I can reproduce it though.

I suggest submitting it to Glide support, or building your own search functionality with a text entry component. Then you can control with actions or workflows, or as @MaximeBaker suggested, add an AI component that will clear it every time you open the screen.

Yes, sounds like a hidden binded data that keep the state of the search… Would be nice to be able to toggle “remember last input” on and off.

What is hidden binded data? and how do i fix it?

I was talking about the way the collection search input works. Seems like it is binded somewhere to keep track of last input. Seems like.
