Text Component Sizes

Hey guys,

Just wanted to let you know that the size for the “Text” component appears to be misbehaving, it’s been happening since Dark Mode was introduced. I noticed it right away, but I figured I’d give it some time before I said anything.

All of the text sizes show up just fine, but “Regular” and “Small” are the exact same size. I think “Regular” is appearing as “Small”, but it could be the other way around.

We made some typography changes along with dark mode.

Two questions:

  • Are you seeing this across all device sizes?
  • Are you seeing this in the headline/text component, or in others as well?

I’m honestly not sure, it’s hard to tell… Definitely present in the Builder though. It’ll work the way it’s supposed to for a few minutes, but reverts back to the sizing issue for the majority of the day. I’ll grab a screen capture next time I see it happening.

Yikes. What’s your Team ID and App ID?

Your Team ID is in the URL of your Glide dashboard, e.g.
go.glideapps.com/o/your-team-id-here

Your App ID is in the URL of the Glide builder, e.g.
go.glideapps.com/a/your-app-id-here/layout
