I have an archive of generated documents with Docs Automator and from 3 days ago, for some documents i have an error when I’m trying to open it.
Also i see the URL is different than the others. Do anybody knows what’s the problem? Kind regards
For the ones that are not working, are they referenced anywhere in any of your Glide Apps?
Once files are no longer referenced, they will be deleted from Glide storage after about 30 days.
thank you for your answer. The files are 1-2 days old. In the first day i can open them, after that when I try i receive that error. the only files that have that error are the ones with the url starting with ‘‘firebase’’, the other ones starting with ‘‘storage…’’ are working fine.
Just looking at the urls, the firebase urls appear to be from Docs Automator’s storage bucket while the storage urls appear to be from Glide’s storage bucket.
Does Docs Automator temporarily store files for 24 to 48 hours, expecting you to retrieve and handle the files yourself?
Can you provide support on this @Rupert ? Thank you.
Thanks for tagging @ThinhDinh and sorry for the delay here @scotfield123!
Indeed as mentioned by @Jeff_Hager, the firebase urls are from DocsAutomator’s storage bucket. You adjust the expiry date / timeframe in your automation settings. If you want DocsAutomator to host files (instead of Glide), please make sure you set a long enough time frame (up to “no expiry” in order to keep them indefinitely).
Let me know if that doesn’t make sense
