Send email when message is received

Hello - Users have the ability to send an message on my app to another user in regards to a listing. When a user receives an message, is there a way that I can trigger an email to be sent to their login email so they know to check the app?

Use a Send Email action.

Thank you. Does this work with the anonymized email addresses? Or do I need to disable that setting?

That’s a good question. I’m not completely sure, but looking through some old posts, I would have to guess that it’s not possible to send emails if anonymous emails are turned on. You would have to have the actual email somewhere, but that defeats the purpose of anonymous emails.

It turns out that it does indeed work. However, I don’t like all the markup that glideapps adds to it. For example, there is a link to the app. I don’t want the users to use that link. Can GlideApps change that for me?

Many Experts have been trying to get Glide to allow for that email to be customized, so they are definitely aware of requests for it, but for the time being it is what it is.
