Hello Gliders!
We held the first-ever Glide Community Writers Cohort back in March.
By the end of the month, 17 members wrote a total of 44 pieces, ranging from Glide apps affecting social change to building Glide apps in the classroom.
Highlights include:
-
No-Code Weekend winner Sujay Kolpuru using Glide to create Applimize and streamline clunky college application processes in the US.
-
Olivia Hylton building Sistren, a meetup app for Black women, without any prior experience in software development.
-
Delaware-based educator Jesse McNulty sharing how teachers foster creativity and community by creating Glide apps with their students.
Participants joined from around the world, meeting once a week, bringing their unique experiences and perspectives to the screen. We traded notes, learned from each other, and came away with a lot of inspiration.
Weโre going to run more cohorts, activities, and events like this in the future.
If thereโs something specific youโd like to see, please DM me!
