Push notifications don't work

Since yesterday, on no app I try, notifications work. I’ve enabled them in the settings, and I’ve configured everything to do so.

But on my very first app it works, but not here.

I’m on IOS 17.5.1
My friends are on 17.5

Same for me. Lost all push notifications.

Why don’t I find this checkbox in the dashboard anymore?

It’s a shame, because it was a big part of my application, or at least my two applications…

Sorry, I have no idea.

Since unchecking that section the push notification works. I think this is really the source of the problem.

Where is it ?

In the application settings section, but I can’t find it anymore.

It might be the default now, @NoCodeAndy should be able to confirm.

It’s an issue with Glide. I use other services, and they work perfectly fine. I keep seeing people and Glide say it’s an OS issue, but I have tested it using this link: PushAlert Demo, and it works without any problems. If only Glide added a couple of different third-party integrations for push notifications, it would solve the problem.

Your link doesn’t work for me. Arc Browser on MacOS Sequoia Beta 15.0. I allowed notifications, then click the “Send Notification” button and nothing happens.

Try using a different browser like Chrome or Safari to test. OP was having an issue on iOS, not macOS. I’ll upload a video. You need to add the test to your home screen, then tap ‘Demo’ and send a push notification.

Not really, In Glide you need to prepare data in the right format.
I can tell because did expert JS code in columns.

It works on Safari for me. Arc is Chromium-based, so I thought it would have worked as well if Chrome works for you.

Nevertheless, as a fellow user, my current take for push notifications is they are not reliable enough for production, so it’s unlikely I would advise using that anytime soon for a production app.

What service would you recommend for push notifications that isn’t Glide? Do I need to use a business plan?

I don’t know of a reliable way to do it outside of Glide. Our agency simply doesn’t offer that anymore and resort to email notifications for the time being.

But me, I have one app don’t work and another work

Have you submitted a support ticket?

I contacted them via the support message on the bottom right, but there was no precise answer and I didn’t necessarily have any information. It’s the basis of my apps and now I’ve been stuck for 1 week.
