Problem with testing the value in numeric fields

I have a numeric column that starts with empty cells, and used the action->increment to change it to the number 1.

I can test if cell is equal or not equal to 1
But tests such as cell is greater than 1 or greater or equal to 1, all fail.

The column is formatted as numeric in both Sheets and Glide as you can see.
